Taco Garage in San Antonio

Got the "taco garage"... very large taco, with lots of cheese and top sirloin. It was very good. The Spanish rice was dry, but still had good flavor. The service was a bit slow and they didn't even put my wife's order in the first go around. Once she got her food it was very good.

This place use to be amazing but I feel it's running into the ground.. idk if it's new management or a new cook or what, but its definitely different. The experience I had here was worth 2 stars, but I couldn't only give two stars to taco garage..

The service was horrible,and the manager obviously needs "management skills" it really saddens me that I had such a horrible experience because I love this place.We waited an hour for our food which was very cold by the way and our bar drinks took forever as well,I could understand if it was a busy night but it was dead in there.The manager knew of our party of 20 2 weeks in advance and when we got there,kitchen staff was not ready.Manager told me they were understaffed in the kitchen and instead of getting in there and helping he stood behind us an rolled silverware.Lol you're a joke.

BEST. PLACE. EVER. Incredibly family friendly, great staff, excellent food, and the best atmosphere. I am searching, but cannot find a single thing wrong with this place! The best part? The food is very reasonably priced. Another great plus is that everything is house made! You can see the tortillas being constructed from scratch and their tres leches cake is homemade too (and a MUST ORDER it is divine). Overall, I can’t think of a better place to enjoy a meal. Loved it.

Great environment and super friendly staff awesome rustic decorations, feel like you're in your own backyard when you sit on the patio, great food and even better margaritas .Highly recommend

After a night of adult beverages, the street sign is like a beacon, calling you like a moth. In all seriousness these were good tacos, we both tried some of each meats, tender, flavorful and did the trick! They also have a pretty good choice in adult beverages too. Thanks taco garage!

Fantastic ambiance! Adorable place in an easy to find location. The bacon wrapped prawns were soooo yummy. Rustic and welcoming all they way around. My only complaint...the service was not as great as to what I would expect...glasses were empty and we would go 10+ minutes without seeing our waitress.

Homemade tortillas and an awesome queso fundido. I would come back for apps and happy hour but not the first place that comes to mind when you are craving tacos.

Definitely bringing my family when they are in town! Super delicious, friendly staff, and great puffy tacos. Best part, they had my favorite beer on tap.

When quarantine began in March, I spent the last day of dinning areas being open here. I highly recommend becoming a regular here at Taco Garage. Kim and Melanie always take care of me as soon as I sit at the bar, and are very attentive. There's all types of sitting from bar, cocktail, patio, and outdoor. The house made tortillas are soooooo good, but my favorite dish is the fajita nachos. I drive across town to come to this bar cause I can't get this experience near my home. Plus, it's right down from the airport, a great place to grab a drink before soaring.

Amazing restaurant! Great food and very friendly service. So happy I stopped to eat lunch today. I had the shrimp enchiladas and they were great. For dessert I ordered the flan which was delicious. My waitress was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is just very eclectic and cool. Just a wonderful lunch! Everyone in my group of 5 people was very happy with their meals too. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

The puffy shells cannot support the weight of the taco and because they are slightly soggy. You have to pick at them with a fork and eat them like a salad.But it was good none the less.The food is top notch here and the service is great.

Taco garage has a very nice atmosphere. Definitely a bar type atmosphere. They stay open late. I had the mole It was very good, a little sweet. We ate late at night, so it was hard to see. However, it appeared that they had a large wrap around porch that would be great if you like to eat outside.

Great establishment. Great service. Food was great as you can see the destroyed meal in the pics. Drinks was good. Great prices.
